A mission......

I rely so much on our time to go outside. Ax loves going outside as well, and I think that is both of our outlet for the day I guess you could say. Now that its getting colder (and we only have the car till 2) its not always possible for us to go outside. Im determined to come up with one new thing a day to spark the little guys mind. With that said...

Day 1- Homemade edible play dough
1 part flour
1 part water
2 part oats
and a sprinkle of kolaid powder for color

I really like how it came out. It could have used a little bit more water so it would last through more uses but I bet we can still use it for a week or so. It feels a lot like play dough just bumpy. Axton liked it for about 5 minutes...then threw it on the floor, but we did cut shapes out of it with cookie cutters and poked our fingers in it!
