Yesterday Chris and I were eating lunch while Axton was in his swing. Axton kept staring at Chris which is completely normal but he kept moving his mouth. I was like what is he doing? Axton was chewing! He knows how to chew now!! I did the same movement when he was eating dinner and he did it again. Hooray for baby A!

Big Boy

Axton can now sit up by himself......sort of :) He can sit up by himself until he sees something way out of his reach around him then he just lunges for it! He is doing really well though. He is also holding himself up while on his belly. Probably not to much longer and well have us a crawling baby!

So weve have taken some cute pictures of Axton that I would love to share with you....Other than that Chris and I have been working out and let me tell you I am so sore! But I am so excited to get my pre-mommy body back! OH!!! Axton got another tooth...on the 11th. Its right next to his other one. Chris and I should be sleeping right now....so thats all for now :)

So today we went to our 6 month old check up.....everything went great! Axton is now 13.5 pounds (which i was shocked at! i figured with how hes been eating he would be 15 or 16) but he has also gained 2 and a quarter inches of height! so now he is 26 and a quarter long. The doctor said were gonna have a tall and thin baby.....go figure :) Anyways other than that he just got his shots. It was so sad...he was fine and they laid him down getting the shots ready, then when they held his legs down Axton tried to sit up like he remembered! Then I held his body down and started crying like he knew what was about to happen. I felt like I had betrayed him instead of protect him :( ok well thats a little dramatic but it was so sad. Axton can finally reach the ground in his jumper thing so here is a cute picture of him finally being able to enjoy his toys :)

Update.....

So its been forever since Ive updated my blog. So here are some new things that have happened to the Kidd family. Chris and I got married on December 22! Thats really all that is new with us....now for Axton. He got his first tooth! He is starting to army crawl....he is eating like crazy! We go on the 9th for a check up so I'm interested to see how much he weighs! We finally realized that Axton could no longer sleep in our bed and we were so scared that it would be horrible breaking him into his own bed....but the very first night he whined for about 10 minutes then slept the whole night. And since then he has been sleeping the whole night (10 to 7) in his bed without fuss! What a relief. Really thats all I can think of right now....but I'm sure more will hit me later :)

So Christmas was a blast. My whole family was here and there were two babies this Christmas. Jack and Axton. They did really well together...they werent really to interested in each other but we got some really cute pictures of them together. And its amazing how much they look alike!
