Yesterday I put Axton in his bed to play while I picked up around the house. Well I go in to check on him and he is doing this.....
I dont know if you know but thats him STANDING UP in his bed! Who taught you this son?! He's getting so big so fast :) but last night he also crawled about 4 steps and hes still trying. Before to long hell conquer that to!Grandma took us to go see horses yesterday to! Here she is petting one...
Axton liked them at first then they put there head over the fence and he was not having that. Well tyr again in a few days.
Axton started saying Mama, Dada, and baba on Friday! How wonderful! He mostly says dada to Chris all day and when he wants to play...and I get my name called at night when hes sleepy. I guess that's how it goes though. Mom is for comfort, dad is for play. That's ok though! At least he can say it! I love my son so much. I'm still trying to get it on the camera, but they always seem to know when you turn that thing on!
Axton has really gotten where he likes to feel things with his little fingers.....so I was like what can I put on his tray for him to squish? Solution....jelly and mayo! Not to eat but just to play with. He loved it! He really liked the jelly. He just squished it and flung it around, but the mayo he didnt like to much. He squished that and looked at me like please clean that off!
While he was playing I turned on the dishwasher (ours is pretty loud) and he looked around me to see what was making the noise. Hes so cute!
Axton said dadadadada yesterday! He was jumping in his bouncer and just talking to his toy about dada apparently. Also if we put him on all fours he will hop with his legs but he refuses to move his arms....so he just gets scrunched up in half! Its so cute watching him try out new things.
Yesterday was just a glimpse of the beautiful weather yet to come! Axton and I went over to my grandmas to spend the day since Chris had to work. So Axton, mom, grandma, and myself went on a walk. Grandma guided us so we could see horses, and Axton loved them! Then later I took Axton to dig in the dirt in the garden. I dug the dirt out and poured it to the side, then he grabbed my hand so he could help me dig. Then we poured some of the dirt on his feet and he picked it up and studied it. For once he didnt stick it in his mouth! After that I took Axton to feel his feet on the grass, well I saw a puddle of mud and thought oh that will feel different I bet he would like to feel that...NO NO NO! He doesnt want his toes all squished in mud yet, but I did get a cute picture out of it.
We have a thumb sucker! I thought it was just an accident, but no he knows exactly what hes doing...
So Axton's previous bed time was from 10-8, which we thought was wonderful because it allowed us to sleep in....but Chris and I weren't getting to spend anytime one on one time together when he got off work and we were getting in bed to late. But all that said, we decided to move Axton bedtime to 8. We were expecting him to get up at like 6 or something but we were willing to see what was going to happen....but hes sleeping from 8-8! How amazing is that! So now quality time with hubby and extra sleep! I also think Axton enjoys going to bed earlier....it use to be so hard getting him to sleep. It was like play with him till he gives up....but now he willing bathes, eats, then sleeps! Hooray for cooperative babies!
